वासिष्ठकथनम् (आदित्य–सोमवंशवर्णनम् तथा रुद्रसहस्रनाम-प्रशंसा)

महासेनो विशाखश् च षष्टिभागो गवां पतिः चक्रहस्तस्तु विष्टम्भी मूलस्तम्भन एव च

Transliteration

mahāseno viśākhaś ca ṣaṣṭibhāgo gavāṃ patiḥ cakrahastastu viṣṭambhī mūlastambhana eva ca

Translation

ਉਹ ਮਹਾਸੇਨ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਖ ਹੈ; ਉਹ ਸ਼ਸ਼੍ਟਿਭਾਗ—ਮਾਪ ਤੇ ਵੰਡ ਦਾ ਸਰਵਵਿਆਪੀ ਨਿਯੰਤਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਗਵਾਂ ਪਤੀ—ਗਊਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਰੱਖਿਆਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਚਕ੍ਰਹਸਤ—ਚਕ੍ਰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ, ਵਿਸ਼੍ਟੰਭੀ—ਜਗਤ ਦਾ ਆਧਾਰ, ਅਤੇ ਮੂਲਸਤੰਭਨ—ਅਸਤਿਤ੍ਵ ਦੀ ਜੜ੍ਹ ਨੂੰ ਸਥਿਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ।
