पवनो यस्तु लोके ऽस्मिन् पार्थिवो वह्निरुच्यते यश्चासौ लोकादौ सूर्ये शुचिरग्निस्तु स स्मृतः
Transliteration
pavano yastu loke 'smin pārthivo vahnirucyate yaścāsau lokādau sūrye śuciragnistu sa smṛtaḥ
Translation
ਇਸ ਲੋਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋ ਅੱਗ ਪਵਨ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਲੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਪਾਰਥਿਵ ਵਹਿਨੀ ਕਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ; ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਦਿ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੂਰਜ ਰੂਪ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਚਮਕਦੀ ਹੈ, ਉਹੀ ਸ਼ੁਚਿ (ਨਿਰਮਲ) ਅਗਨੀ ਮੰਨੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।
