सूर्यरथ-रचना, ध्रुव-प्रेरणा, मास-गणाः च

Jyotish-chakra: Surya’s Motion and Monthly Retinues

ध्रुवेण प्रगृहीते वै विचक्राश्वे च रज्जुभिः भ्रमन्तमनुगच्छन्ति ध्रुवं रश्मी च तावुभौ

Transliteration

dhruveṇa pragṛhīte vai vicakrāśve ca rajjubhiḥ bhramantamanugacchanti dhruvaṃ raśmī ca tāvubhau

Translation

ਧ੍ਰੁਵ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਫੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ, ਅਤੇ ਚੱਕਰ ਤੇ ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਵ੍ਯ ਰਥ ਨਾਲ ਰੱਸੀਆਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਬੱਝਿਆ—ਉਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ, ਧ੍ਰੁਵ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਰਗ-ਦਰਸ਼ਕ ਕਿਰਣ, ਘੁੰਮਦੀ ਗਤੀ ਦਾ ਅਨੁਸਰਣ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਕਾਸ਼ ਦੀ ਨਿਯਤ ਪਰਿਕ੍ਰਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਥਾਂਮਦੇ ਹਨ।
