गायन्ति पितरो गाथाः कीर्तयन्ति महर्षयः / गयांयास्यतियः कश्चित् सो ऽस्मान् संतारयिष्यति

gāyanti pitaro gāthāḥ kīrtayanti maharṣayaḥ / gayāṃyāsyatiyaḥ kaścit so 'smān saṃtārayiṣyati

ਪਿਤਰ ਸਿਫ਼ਤ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਾਥਾਵਾਂ ਗਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਾਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ—‘ਜੋ ਕੋਈ ਗਯਾ ਧਾਮ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ (ਪਿਤਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ) ਬੰਧਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਰ ਲੰਘਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।’
