श्रुतिविक्रयिणो ये तु परपूर्वासमुद्भवाः / असमानान् याजयन्ति पतितास्ते प्रकीर्तिताः
śrutivikrayiṇo ye tu parapūrvāsamudbhavāḥ / asamānān yājayanti patitāste prakīrtitāḥ
ਜੋ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤੀ/ਵੇਦ ਦਾ ਵਪਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਠੀਕ ਪੂਰਵਜ-ਕ੍ਰਮ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਹਰਲੀ ਪਰੰਪਰਾ ਤੋਂ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਮਾਨ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਯੱਗ ਕਰਵਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ—ਉਹ ‘ਪਤਿਤ’ ਘੋਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
