Dakṣa-yajña-bhaṅgaḥ — Dadhīci’s Teaching and the Destruction of Dakṣa’s Sacrifice

तमसाविष्टमनसो न पश्यन्ति वृषध्वजम् / सहस्त्रशो ऽथ शतशो भूय एव विनिन्द्यते

tamasāviṣṭamanaso na paśyanti vṛṣadhvajam / sahastraśo 'tha śataśo bhūya eva vinindyate

ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਤਮਸ ਨਾਲ ਘਿਰੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਵ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਧ੍ਵਜ (ਸ਼ਿਵ) ਦਾ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ। ਉਲਟ ਉਹ ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ—ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਸੈਂਕੜਿਆਂ ਵਾਰ—ਨਿੰਦਾ ਦਾ ਪਾਤਰ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ।
