अन्तरा द्यां च पृथिवीं च यद् व्यचस्तेन शालां प्रति गृह्णामि त इमाम्। यदन्तरिक्षं रजसो विमानं तत् कृण्वेऽहमुदरं शेवधिभ्यः । तेन शालां प्रति गृह्णामि तस्मै
antárā dyā́ṃ ca pṛthivī́ṃ ca yád vyácaḥ téna śālā́ṃ práti gṛhṇāmi ta imā́m | yád antárikṣaṃ rájaso vimā́naṃ tát kṛṇve ’hám udáraṃ śevadhíbhyas | téna śālā́ṃ práti gṛhṇāmi tásmai ||
With that which is spread out betwixt heaven and earth, thereby I take to me, in due relation, this House for thee. What is the atmosphere, the measured expanse of the airy region—that I make a belly for treasures: thereby I take to me the House for him.
ਦਿਆਉਂ ਅਤੇ ਪૃਥਵੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਜੋ ਕੁਝ ਵਿਸਤਾਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਇਸ ਸ਼ਾਲਾ ਨੂੰ ਯਥਾਵਿਧਿ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਨਾਲ ਗ੍ਰਹਿਣ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ। ਜੋ ਅੰਤਰਿਕਸ਼ ਹੈ—ਰਜਸ (ਵਾਯੁ-ਮੰਡਲ) ਦਾ ਮਾਪਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਵਿਸਤਾਰ—ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਨਿਧੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਉਦਰ (ਭੰਡਾਰ-ਗਰਭ) ਬਣਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ; ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਉਸ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਾਲਾ ਨੂੰ ਯਥਾਵਿਧਿ ਗ੍ਰਹਿਣ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
