Sukta 89
दिव्या आपः। अपो दिव्या अचायिषं रसेन समपृक्ष्महि । पयस्वानग्न आगमं तं मा सं सृज वर्चसा
ápo divyā́ acāyiṣaṃ rásena sám apṛkṣmahi | páyasvān agne ā́ gamam táṃ mā́ sáṃ sṛja várcasā ||
The heavenly Waters have I drawn; with their essence we have wholly sprinkled ourselves. O Agni, come hither with what is milky: that do thou wholly send into me with lustre.
ਦਿਵ੍ਯ ਆਪਃ—ਮੈਂ ਆਕਾਸ਼ੀ/ਸਵਰਗੀ ਜਲ ਖਿੱਚ ਲਏ ਹਨ; ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਰਸ ਨਾਲ ਅਸੀਂ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਛਿੜਕਿਆ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਅਗਨੀ, ਪਯਸ੍ਵਤ् (ਦੁੱਧ-ਸਮ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਵਾਲਾ) ਲੈ ਕੇ ਇੱਥੇ ਆ; ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਵਰਚਸ (ਤੇਜ) ਸਮੇਤ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਜੋੜ ਦੇ।
