Sukta 29
समाहर जातवेदो यद्धृतं यत् पराभृतम्। गात्राण्यस्य वर्धन्तामंशुरिवा प्यायतामयम्
samā́hara jātavedo yád dhṛtáṃ yát parā́bhṛtam | gā́trāṇy asya vardhantām aṃśúr iva pyā́yatām ayám
Bring back together, O Jātavedas, what hath been seized, what hath been borne away. Let his limbs increase; like a ray (or soma-stalk) let this man swell and thrive.
ਹੇ ਜਾਤਵੇਦਸ, ਜੋ ਫੜ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਦੂਰ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ—ਉਹ ਸਭ ਮੁੜ ਇਕੱਠਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਵਾਪਸ ਲਿਆ। ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ ਵਧਣ; ਕਿਰਣ ਵਾਂਗ (ਜਾਂ ਸੋਮ-ਲਤਾ ਦੇ ਅੰਸ਼ੁ ਵਾਂਗ) ਇਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਪੁਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਫੂਲੇ-ਫਲੇ।
