ब्रह्मणा ते ब्रह्मयुजा युनज्मि हरी सखाया सधमाद आशू। स्थिरं रथं सुखमिन्द्राधितिष्ठन् प्रजानन् विद्वां उप याहि सोमम्

IAST Transliteration

bráhmaṇā te brahmayújā yúnajmi hárī sákhāyā sadhámāda āśū́ | sthiráṃ ráthaṃ súkham indra adhitíṣṭhan prajā́nann vídvān úpa yāhi sómam |

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

With holy power I yoke for thee thy tawny pair, brahman-yoked, companions, swift unto the common feast. Mount thou the firm, the easy-rolling car, O Indra—knowing, wise—and come thou near unto the Soma.

Translation

ਬ੍ਰਹ್ಮਣਾ (ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ-ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ) ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਬ੍ਰਹ੍ਮਯੁਜ—ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਨਾਲ ਜੋਤੇ ਹੋਏ—ਤੇਰੇ ਤਾਮ੍ਰਵਰਨ ਹਰੀ (ਘੋੜੇ) ਜੋੜਦਾ ਹਾਂ; ਸਖੇ, ਸਧਮਾਦ (ਸਾਂਝੇ ਯਜ੍ਞ-ਭੋਜਨ) ਵੱਲ ਤੇਜ਼। ਹੇ ਇੰਦਰ, ਥਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਖ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਰਥ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਧਿਸ਼ਠਿਤ ਹੋ; ਜਾਣਨਹਾਰ, ਵਿਦਵਾਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸੌਮ ਦੇ ਨੇੜੇ ਆ।
