Sukta 37
सना ता त इन्द्र भोजनानि रातहव्याय दाशुषे सुदासे । वृष्णे ते हरी वृषणा युनज्मि व्यन्तु ब्रह्माणि पुरुशाक वाजम्
sánā tā́ ta indra bhójanāni rātáhavyāya dāśúṣe sudā́se | vṛ́ṣṇe te hárī vṛ́ṣaṇā yúnajmi vyàntu bráhmāṇi puruśāka vā́jam
From of old are thine, O Indra, bounties—unto the well-offering, unto the giver, unto the good bestower. Thy two strong bay steeds, the vigorous pair, I yoke for the mighty: let prayers spread abroad, O Much-availing, for the winning of the prize.
ਹੇ ਇੰਦਰ! ਪੁਰਾਤਨ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਭੋਜਨ (ਉਦਾਰ ਦਾਤਾਂ) ਰਾਤਹਵ੍ਯ (ਯੱਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਵਿ ਅਰਪਣ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ) ਲਈ, ਦਾਸ਼ੁਸ਼ (ਦਾਨ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ) ਲਈ, ਅਤੇ ਸੁਦਾਸ (ਸੁ-ਦਾਤਾ) ਲਈ ਹਨ। ਹੇ ਵೃಷਣੇ (ਵੀਰ)! ਤੇਰੇ ਦੋ ਹਰੀ (ਕਪਿਲ/ਬੇ ਘੋੜੇ), ਬਲਵਾਨ ਜੋੜੇ ਨੂੰ, ਮੈਂ ਮਹਾ-ਬਲ ਲਈ ਜੋੜਦਾ ਹਾਂ; ਹੇ ਪੁਰੁਸ਼ਾਕ (ਬਹੁਤ ਸਹਾਇਕ)! ਵਾਜ (ਵਿਜੈ-ਇਨਾਮ/ਬਲ) ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਲਈ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾਣਿ (ਸਤੁਤੀ-ਮੰਤ੍ਰ) ਚੌਹੀਂ ਪਾਸੀਂ ਫੈਲਣ।
