एवा ते हारियोजना सुवृक्तीन्द्र ब्रह्माणि गोतमासो अक्रन्। ऐषु विश्वपेशसं धियं धाः प्रातर्मक्षू धियावसुर्जगम्यात्

IAST Transliteration

évā́ te hāriyójanā suvṛktī́ndra bráhmāṇi gótamāso akran | ā́ eṣú viśvápeśasaṃ dhíyaṃ dhā́ḥ prātár makṣū́ dhiyā́vasur jagamyāt

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Thus for thee, O Indra, yoker of the tawny steeds, the Gotamas have wrought their well-spoken praises, their sacred spells. In these set thou thy thought, all-adorned; and early, swiftly, may he who is rich in inspiration come.

Translation

ਹੇ ਇੰਦਰ, ਹਰਿਤ (ਤਾਮ੍ਰਵਰਨ) ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਜੋੜਨ ਵਾਲੇ! ਗੋਤਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਸੁਵ੍ਰੁਕਤੀ—ਸੁਚੱਜੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਸਿਫ਼ਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾਣਿ (ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ-ਵਿਧੀਆਂ) ਰਚੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਪੇਸ਼ਸ ਧੀ (ਸਰਵ-ਅਲੰਕਾਰਿਤ ਸੋਚ/ਪ੍ਰਜ્ઞਾ) ਟਿਕਾ; ਅਤੇ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਹੀ, ਛੇਤੀ, ਧਿਆਵਸੁ—ਪ੍ਰੇਰਣਾ-ਧਨ ਵਾਲਾ—ਇੱਥੇ ਆ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ।
