Sukta 137
त्वं ह त्यदप्रतिमानमोजो वज्रेण वज्रिन्धृषितो जघन्थ । त्वं शुष्णस्यावातिरो वधत्रैस्त्वं गा इन्द्र शच्येदविन्दः
tváṁ ha tyád apratimā́nám ójo vájreṇa vajrin dhṛṣitó jaghántha | tváṁ śúṣṇasyā́vātiró vádhatrāis tváṁ gā́ indra śácyéd avindaḥ ||
Thou, O bolt-bearer, didst with the thunderbolt in daring smite that matchless might; thou didst bring low Śuṣṇa with slaying weapons; thou, O Indra, didst verily by thy efficacious power win the cows.
ਹੇ ਵਜ੍ਰਧਾਰੀ, ਤੂੰ ਵਜ੍ਰ ਨਾਲ ਧ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਅਪ੍ਰਤਿਮ ਓਜ ਨੂੰ ਚੂਰ-ਚੂਰ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਤੂੰ ਸ਼ੁਸ਼੍ਣ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਕ ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਢਾਹ ਦਿੱਤਾ; ਅਤੇ ਹੇ ਇੰਦਰ, ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਸ਼ਚੀ (ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ-ਸ਼ਕਤੀ) ਨਾਲ ਨਿਸ਼ਚੇ ਹੀ ਗਾਂਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਜਿੱਤ ਲਿਆ।
