Sukta 137
त्वं ह त्यत्सप्तभ्यो जायमानोऽशत्रुभ्यो अभवः शत्रुरिन्द्र । गूल्हे द्यावापृथिवी अन्वविन्दो विभुमद्भ्यो भुवनेभ्यो रणं धाः
tváṁ ha tyát saptábhyo jā́yamāno ’śatrúbhyo abhavaḥ śátrur indra | gūḷhé dyā́vā-pṛthivī́ ánv-avindo vibhúmadbhyo bhúvanebhyo ráṇaṁ dhāḥ ||
Thou, even from thy birth for the Seven, wast foe to foes and friend to the unhostile, O Indra. Hidden, Heaven and Earth thou didst track and find; from the wide worlds thou didst set battle in place.
ਹੇ ਇੰਦਰ, ਤੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ‘ਸਾਤ’ ਲਈ (ਸਪ੍ਤਭ੍ਯਃ) ਵੈਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਵੈਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਅਸ਼ਤ੍ਰੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਮਿੱਤਰ ਬਣਿਆ। ਲੁਕੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਦ੍ਯਾਵਾ-ਪ੍ਰਿਥਿਵੀ ਨੂੰ ਤੂੰ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਲੱਗ ਕੇ ਲੱਭ ਲਿਆ; ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਭੁਵਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਰਣ (ਯੁੱਧ) ਨੂੰ ਥਾਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ, ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
