Sukta 9
येना समुद्रमसृजो महीरपस्तदिन्द्र वृष्णि ते शवः । सद्यः सो अस्य महिमा न संनशे यं क्षोणीरनुचक्रदे
yéna samudrám asṛ́jo mahī́r apás tád índra vṛ́ṣṇi te śávaḥ | sadyáḥ só asya mahimā́ ná saṃnáśe yáṃ kṣoṇī́r anucakradé ||
Wherewith thou loosedst to the sea the mighty waters—that, O Indra, Bull, is thy force. Straightway his majesty perisheth not—he whom the broad lands follow in their course.
ਜਿਸ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਤੂੰ ਮਹਾਨ ਜਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਵੱਲ ਛੱਡਿਆ—ਹੇ ਇੰਦਰ, ਵ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਭ, ਉਹੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਬਲ ਹੈ। ਤੁਰੰਤ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਨਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ—ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਧਰਤੀਆਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਮਾਰਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
