उद् घेदभि श्रुतामघं वृषभं नर्यापसम्। अस्तारमेषि सूर्य

IAST Transliteration

úd ghed abhí śrutā́m agháṃ vṛṣabháṃ naryā́pasam | ástāram eṣi sū́rya ||

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Up verily thou movest against the famed evil—(as) the Bull of manly deeds, the Overcomer: thou goest on, O Sūrya.

ਹਾਂ, ਤੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਬੁਰਾਈ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਉੱਠ ਕੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਦਾ ਹੈਂ—ਪੁਰਖਾਰਥ ਦੇ ਕਰਮਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਵ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਭ, ਜੇਤੂ; ਹੇ ਸੂਰਜ! ਤੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਚੱਲਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
