Sukta 3
यास्ते धाना अनुकिरामि तिलमिश्रा स्वधावतीः । तास्ते सन्तु विभ्वीः प्रभ्वीस्तास्ते यमो राजानु मन्यताम्
yā́s te dhānā́ anukirā́mi tila-miśrā́ svadhā́-vatīḥ | tā́s te santu vibhvī́ḥ prabhvī́s tā́s te yamó rājā́ ánu manyatām |
The grains which I strew for thee in order, mingled with sesame, rich in Svadhā—let those be thine, abundant and of prevailing might; let Yama the King, in due course, acknowledge them for thee.
ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਮੈਂ ਕ੍ਰਮ ਨਾਲ ਜੋ ਧਾਨੇ ਛਿੜਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ, ਤਿਲ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲੇ ਹੋਏ, ਸ੍ਵਧਾਵਤੀਃ (ਸ੍ਵਧਾ-ਸਮ੍ਰਿੱਧ)—ਉਹ ਸਭ ਤੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਹੋਣ; ਉਹ ਵਿਭ੍ਵੀਃ, ਪ੍ਰਭ੍ਵੀਃ—ਪ੍ਰਚੁਰ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਬਲ—ਹੋਣ। ਅਤੇ ਯਮ ਰਾਜਾ ਸਮੇਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੇਰੇ ਲਈ ਮੰਨ ਲਵੇ/ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕਰੇ।
