Sukta 3
सप्त मेधान् पशवः पर्यगृह्णन् य एषां ज्योतिष्मां उत यश्चकर्श । त्रयस्त्रिंशद् देवतास्तान्त्सचन्ते स नः स्वर्गमभि नेष लोकम्
saptá medhā́m̐ paśávaḥ páry agṛhṇan yá eṣā́ṃ jyótiṣmān utá yáś cakárṣa | tráyastriṃśad devátās tā́nt sacante sá no svargám abhí neṣa lokám ||
Seven powers of insight the cattle have encompassed—he who among them is luminous, and he who hath fashioned them. The Thirty-and-Three Deities attend on him: may he lead us onward unto the heavenly world.
ਸੱਤ ਮੇਧਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਨੇ ਚੌਫੇਰੇ ਘੇਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ—ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋ ਤੇਜਸਵੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਜੋ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਘੜਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈ। ਤੇਤੀ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਲੱਗਦੇ ਹਨ; ਉਹ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸਵਰਗ ਲੋਕ ਵੱਲ ਲੈ ਜਾਵੇ।
