Transliteration
samāhartṛvan nāgariko nagaraṃ cintayet
Translation
ਸਮਾਹਰਤਾ ਵਾਂਗ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ (ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਅਧੀਕਸ਼ਕ) ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਜਾਂਚ-ਪੜਤਾਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
