सुवर्णमाषकाश्चत्वारश्चतुरङ्गुलायामाः कुम्भच्छिद्रमाढकमम्भसो वा नालिका ॥ कZ_०२.२०.३५ ॥

Transliteration

suvarṇamāṣakāś catvāraś caturaṅgulāyāmāḥ kumbhacchidram āḍhakam ambhaso vā nālikā

Translation

ਨਾਲਿਕਾ ਦਾ ਮਾਪ ਘੜੇ ਦੇ ਛੇਦ ਨਾਲ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ—ਉਸ ਛੇਦ ਦਾ ਪਰਿਮਾਣ ਚਾਰ ਸੁਵਰਣ-ਮਾਸ਼ਕ ਅਤੇ ਲੰਬਾਈ ਚਾਰ ਅੰਗੁਲ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ; ਜਾਂ ਪਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਆਢਕ ਜਿਤਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਵਾਹ/ਮਾਪ—ਇਹੀ ਨਾਲਿਕਾ ਹੈ।
