आकरिकमपहरन्तमष्टगुणं दापयेदन्यत्र रत्नेभ्यः ॥ कZ_०२.१२.२० ॥

Transliteration

ākarikamapaharantamaṣṭaguṇaṃ dāpayedanyatra ratnebhyaḥ

Translation

ਜੇ ਖਾਣ-ਮਜ਼ਦੂਰ/ਲੀਜ਼ਧਾਰਕ ਚੋਰੀ ਕਰੇ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਠ ਗੁਣਾ ਵਸੂਲ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ—ਰਤਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ (ਜਿੱਥੇ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਨਿਯਮ ਹੈ)।
