Transliteration

upāyāḥ sāmopapradāna-bheda-daṇḍāḥ

Translation

ਉਪਾਅ ਹਨ—ਸਾਮ, ਉਪਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ (ਲਾਲਚ/ਤੋਹਫ਼ਾ), ਭੇਦ ਅਤੇ ਦੰਡ।
