Related Themes: Agni Purana 382 (purāṇa-māhātmya); Agni Purana opening transmission frames (sūta-vyāsa narrative, general)
It prescribes a core practice for Purāṇa-sādhana: contemplating (cintana) the Agneya Purāṇa’s essential form/teaching as transmitted by authoritative lineage (Śuka and Paila), promising tangible (bhukti) and spiritual (mukti) results.
By framing the Agni Purāṇa itself as a complete, authoritative compendium whose integrated study yields both worldly competence and ultimate liberation, it validates the text’s multi-disciplinary scope as a unified path of knowledge and practice.
It presents Purāṇic contemplation as a merit-bearing act that purifies karma and culminates in mokṣa, while also granting righteous prosperity—linking dharma-based learning with both immediate and final fruits.
