Vidya Category: {"primary_vidya":"Mantra","secondary_vidya":"Tantra","practical_application":"Vāśīkaraṇa (influence/attraction) and abhiṣeka (ritual consecration) using specified Vedic mantras and material supports (sarva-dhānya: all grains) as per recensional variants.","sutra_style":true}
Encyclopedic Reference: {"reference_type":"Procedure","entry_title":"Vāśīkaraṇa with Sarva-dhānya and Abhiṣeka Mantras (Śiva-saṃkalpa; Hiraṇyavarṇāḥ)","lookup_keywords":["vashikarana","sarva-dhanya","shiva-sankalpa","parangne gayanena","hiraṇyavarṇāḥ śucayaḥ"],"quick_summary":"For influence-rites, employ all grains as the material basis and apply the indicated mantras according to recension. For consecration (abhiṣeka), use the mantra “hiraṇyavarṇāḥ śucayaḥ” as the bathing/aspersion formula."}
Concept: Mantra-prayoga depends on correct mantra-selection, material adjuncts (dhānya), and śākhā/recensional authorization; abhiṣeka is sanctifying through mantra-infused water.
Application: When performing consecrations or attraction rites, follow the authorized mantra-variants of one’s tradition and pair mantra with proper dravya (grains, water) to align intention (saṃkalpa) with rite.
Khanda Section: Mantra-vidhi (Abhiṣeka, Vāśīkaraṇa and ritual mantra applications)
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: shanta

Sandhi Resolution Notes: vaśīkuryāt + jagat + sarvam → vaśīkuryājjagatsarvam; sarvadhānyaiḥ (instr.pl.) kept; asaṃśayam treated as avyaya; mantro + ayam → mantraḥ ayam (mantroyam); ity etad iti resolved as iti + etat + iti. Editorial markers (gha/ja/ka) retained as indeclinable sigla.

It gives mantra-prayoga: using grains as ritual substances for vāśīkaraṇa (attraction/influence) and prescribing specific Vedic mantras—especially “hiraṇyavarṇāḥ śucayaḥ”—for abhiṣeka (ritual consecration/anointing).
It demonstrates the text’s manual-like function by cataloging practical ritual procedures (substances like grains) alongside cross-referenced Vedic mantra incipits and variant recensions, integrating Purāṇic instruction with Vedic liturgical usage.
Abhiṣeka-mantras are framed as purificatory and auspicious, conferring ritual legitimacy and sanctifying the person/rite; the instruction implies that correct mantra-and-substance application yields siddhi-like efficacy and merit through properly performed consecration.
