It teaches svapna-phala (dream-result) methodology: seeing specific auspicious symbols at the dream’s conclusion is read as a nimitta indicating imminent increase of household prosperity.
Alongside theology and ritual, the Agni Purana also preserves applied omen-science (nimitta-śāstra), giving practical prognostics for social outcomes like wealth and family growth.
Auspicious dream-signs are treated as reflections of favorable karmic maturation (puṇya-vipāka), indicating a supportive turn of fortune that manifests as prosperity and expansion of one’s household.
