विषरोगाश् च सप्त स्युर्धातोर्धात्वन्तराप्तितः विषदंशो ललाटं यात्यतोनेत्रं ततौ सुखम् आस्याच्च वचनीनाड्यौ धातून प्राप्नोति हि क्रमात्

viṣarogāś ca sapta syurdhātordhātvantarāptitaḥ viṣadaṃśo lalāṭaṃ yātyatonetraṃ tatau sukham āsyācca vacanīnāḍyau dhātūna prāpnoti hi kramāt

ਵਿਸ਼-ਰੋਗ ਸੱਤ ਕਹੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਵਿਸ਼ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਧਾਤੂ ਤੋਂ ਦੂਜੇ ਧਾਤੂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚਣ ਨਾਲ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਡੰਸ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮੱਥੇ ਤੱਕ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਫਿਰ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਤੱਕ, ਅਤੇ ਫਿਰ ਕੁਝ ਰਾਹਤ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਫਿਰ ਮੂੰਹ ਤੋਂ ਵਾਕ-ਨਾਡੀਆਂ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਕੇ, ਕ੍ਰਮ ਨਾਲ ਧਾਤੂਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੈਲਦਾ ਹੈ।
