एवं त्रिंशद्दिनो मासस्ते द्वादश समाः स्मृताः । तेषां शतं ब्रह्मणस्तु आयुर्नास्त्यत्र संशयः ॥ ३९.६४ ॥
evaṁ triṁśaddino māsas te dvādaśa samāḥ smṛtāḥ | teṣāṁ śataṁ brahmaṇas tu āyur nāsty atra saṁśayaḥ || 39.64 ||
ଏଭଳି ମାସ ତିରିଶ ଦିନର ବୋଲି ସ୍ମୃତ; ଏମିତି ବାର ମାସ ଏକ ବର୍ଷ। ଏମିତି ବର୍ଷର ଶତକ ହେଉଛି ବ୍ରହ୍ମାଙ୍କ ଆୟୁ—ଏଠାରେ ସନ୍ଦେହ ନାହିଁ।
