श्राद्धं कुर्वीत विज्ञाय व्यतीपातेऽयने तथा । विषुवे चैव सम्प्राप्ते ग्रहणे शशिसूर्ययोः । समस्तेष्वेव विप्रेन्द्र राशिष्वर्केऽतिगच्छति ॥ १३.३६ ॥

śrāddhaṃ kurvīta vijñāya vyatīpāte 'yane tathā | viṣuve caiva samprāpte grahaṇe śaśisūryayoḥ | samasteṣv eva viprendra rāśiṣv arke 'tigacchati || 13.36 ||

ବ୍ୟତୀପାତେ, ଅୟନକାଳେ (ଉତ୍ତରାୟଣ-ଦକ୍ଷିଣାୟଣ), ବିଷୁବ ଆସିଲେ, ଚନ୍ଦ୍ର-ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଗ୍ରହଣ ସମୟରେ, ଏବଂ ହେ ବିପ୍ରେନ୍ଦ୍ର, ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ସମସ୍ତ ରାଶି ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଗତି କରୁଥିବାବେଳେ—ଏହି ଅବସର ଜାଣି ଶ୍ରାଦ୍ଧ କରିବା ଉଚିତ।
