Prashna

यदा त्वमभिवर्षस्यथेमाः प्राण ते प्रजाः । आनन्दरूपास्तिष्ठन्ति कामायान्नं भविष्यतीति ॥१०॥

यदा । त्वम् । अभिवर्षसि । अथ । इमाः । प्राण । ते । प्रजाः । आनन्दरूपाः । तिष्ठन्ति । कामाय । अन्नम् । भविष्यति । इति ॥

IAST Transliteration

yadā tvam abhivarṣasy atha imāḥ prāṇa te prajāḥ | ānandarūpās tiṣṭhanti kāmāyānnaṃ bhaviṣyatīti ||10||

Translation

ହେ ପ୍ରାଣ! ଯେତେବେଳେ ତୁମେ ବର୍ଷା କର, ସେତେବେଳେ ତୁମର ଏହି ପ୍ରଜାମାନେ ଆନନ୍ଦସ୍ୱରୂପରେ ଅବସ୍ଥିତ ରହନ୍ତି, ‘ଇଚ୍ଛାନୁସାରେ ଅନ୍ନ ମିଳିବ’ ବୋଲି ଭାବି ।

Academic Translation

When you rain down (upon them), then these creatures of yours, O Prāṇa, stand (exist) in the form of joy, thinking: ‘Food will come according to desire.’
