त्वं वज्रभृद्भूतपतिस्त्वमेव । कामः प्रजानां निहितोऽसि सोमे । स्वाहा स्वधा यच्च वषट् करोति रुद्रः पशूनां गुहया निमग्नः ॥५॥

IAST Transliteration

tvaṃ vajrabhṛd bhūtapatis tvam eva | kāmaḥ prajānāṃ nihito 'si some | svāhā svadhā yac ca vaṣaṭ karoti rudraḥ paśūnāṃ guhayā nimagnaḥ ||5||

Translation

ତୁମେ ବଜ୍ରଧାରୀ; ତୁମେ ଏକାଇ ସର୍ବଭୂତଙ୍କ ପତି। ହେ ସୋମ, ପ୍ରଜାମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ନିହିତ କାମ ତୁମେ। ସ୍ୱାହା, ସ୍ୱଧା ଓ ଯେ ବଷଟ୍କାର କରେ ସେହି ମଧ୍ୟ ତୁମେ; ପଶୁମାନଙ୍କ ରୁଦ୍ର ତୁମେ, ହୃଦୟଗୁହାରେ ନିମଗ୍ନ।

Academic Translation

You are the wielder of the thunderbolt; you alone are the lord of beings. You are Kāma, placed within creatures, O Soma. (You are) svāhā, svadhā, and whatever performs the vaṣaṭ; (you are) Rudra of the beasts, immersed in the cave (of the heart).

• Īśvara as antaryāmin (inner controller) and the unity behind many deities/ritual functions
• Mahavakya: Supports ‘tat tvam asi’ (identity implied through the indwelling presence) when read as the one reality appearing as all divine powers and as the inner Self in the ‘cave’.
