व्यास उवाच । भगवन्किं प्रभावोऽसौ योऽयं विष्णुहरिस्त्वया । कीर्तितो मुनिशार्दूल प्रसिद्धिं गतवान्कथम् । एतत्सर्वं समाचक्ष्व विस्तरेण ममाग्रतः
vyāsa uvāca | bhagavankiṃ prabhāvo'sau yo'yaṃ viṣṇuharistvayā | kīrtito muniśārdūla prasiddhiṃ gatavānkatham | etatsarvaṃ samācakṣva vistareṇa mamāgrataḥ
ବ୍ୟାସ କହିଲେ—ହେ ଭଗବନ! ଆପଣ କୀର୍ତ୍ତିତ କରିଥିବା ଏହି ‘ବିଷ୍ଣୁ-ହରି’ଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଭାବ କ’ଣ, ହେ ମୁନିଶାର୍ଦୂଳ? ସେ କିପରି ପ୍ରସିଦ୍ଧି ଲାଭ କଲେ? ଏ ସବୁ ମୋ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ବିସ୍ତାରରେ କହନ୍ତୁ।
