lakṣmaṇa uvāca | vyagraḥ sa pārthivaśreṣṭho devakāryeṇa kenacit | tasmādatraiva vipreṃdra muhūrtaṃ paripālaya
Lakṣmaṇa
Type: kshetra
Listener: Durvāsā
Scene: Lakṣmaṇa, composed and respectful, addresses Durvāsā with folded hands, explaining Rāma’s engagement in divine duty and requesting a brief wait; tension is softened by etiquette.
Dharma can present competing obligations; the verse dramatizes the delicate balance between divine duty and immediate hospitality to sages.
No tīrtha is mentioned in this verse.
None; it is a request to wait (muhūrta) during a divine engagement.
