वृत्र उवाच । यावत्तिष्ठति सुत्रामा तावन्नास्ति सुखं मम । तस्मान्निष्कंटकार्थाय यतिष्येऽहं द्विजोत्तम

Transliteration

vṛtra uvāca | yāvattiṣṭhati sutrāmā tāvannāsti sukhaṃ mama | tasmānniṣkaṃṭakārthāya yatiṣye'haṃ dvijottama

Translation

ବୃତ୍ର କହିଲା—ଯେପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ସୁତ୍ରାମା (ଇନ୍ଦ୍ର) ଅଛନ୍ତି, ସେପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ମୋ ପାଇଁ ସୁଖ ନାହିଁ। ତେଣୁ କଣ୍ଟକ (ଶତ୍ରୁ) ନିବାରଣ ପାଇଁ ମୁଁ ପ୍ରୟତ୍ନ କରିବି, ହେ ଦ୍ୱିଜୋତ୍ତମ।
