स्कन्द उवाच । हिताय सर्वलोकानां मयैतत्समनुष्ठितम् । यद्धतो दानवो रौद्रो नान्यथा द्विजसत्तमाः

Transliteration

skanda uvāca | hitāya sarvalokānāṃ mayaitatsamanuṣṭhitam | yaddhato dānavo raudro nānyathā dvijasattamāḥ

Translation

ସ୍କନ୍ଦ କହିଲେ— “ସମସ୍ତ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ହିତାର୍ଥେ ମୁଁ ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ କରିଛି—ସେ ରୌଦ୍ର ଦାନବକୁ ବଧ କରିଛି। ହେ ଦ୍ୱିଜଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠମାନେ, ଏହା ଅନ୍ୟଥା ହେବା ସମ୍ଭବ ନୁହେଁ।”
