Sūta
Type: kund
Listener: Ṛṣis
Scene: Sūta narrates to assembled sages in a forest āśrama; in the narrative-vision, a luminous pond appears, said to be fashioned by gods, with a royal figure (Suhaya/Ānarta) performing austerity at its bank.
Divinely sanctified waters (taḍāga) within a kṣetra can become the setting where even rulers attain spiritual accomplishment.
A deva-made sacred pond (taḍāga) located in the Nāgarakhaṇḍa’s described region; its proper name is not stated in this verse.
None explicitly here; the verse introduces the tīrtha and its famed result (siddhi).
