varṣamekaṃ naro bhaktyā yaḥ paśyetsūryavāsare | kṛtakṣaṇo'tra putraṃ sa labhate cottamaṃ sukham
Sūta (deduced from section context)
Tirtha: Sāmbasūrya / Vaṭāditya
Type: kshetra
Scene: A sequence-like depiction: the same devotee returns each Sunday across changing seasons—summer heat, monsoon clouds, autumn clarity—always facing the Sūrya shrine; finally he receives a child in his arms, with an aura of fulfillment.
Regular, faithful darśana aligned with sacred time (Sūryavāra) and sacred place is praised as a direct path to merit and blessings.
The ‘here’ (atra) indicates the Sāmbasūrya kṣetra/tīrtha being praised in this chapter.
Perform darśana/worship on Sundays for one year with devotion.
