उवाच व्यर्थः शापोऽयं तव दत्तो मया नृप । न च मे जायते वाक्यमसत्यं हि कथंचन

Transliteration

uvāca vyarthaḥ śāpo'yaṃ tava datto mayā nṛpa | na ca me jāyate vākyamasatyaṃ hi kathaṃcana

Translation

ସେ କହିଲେ—ହେ ନୃପ! ମୋଦ୍ୱାରା ଦିଆଯାଇଥିବା ଏହି ଶାପ ବ୍ୟର୍ଥ ସିଦ୍ଧ ହେଲା। ତଥାପି ମୋ ମୁଖରୁ କେବେ ମଧ୍ୟ ଅସତ୍ୟ ବାକ୍ୟ ଉଦ୍ଭବ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ।
