Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 6
तदा स्वरूपं पृथ्व्यादि पूजयेत्पापकृन्नरः । तथा स मुच्यते पापात्तत्कृताद्धि न संशयः
tadā svarūpaṃ pṛthvyādi pūjayetpāpakṛnnaraḥ | tathā sa mucyate pāpāttatkṛtāddhi na saṃśayaḥ
ତେବେ ପାପକର୍ତ୍ତା ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ପୃଥିବୀ ଆଦି ତତ୍ତ୍ୱମାନଙ୍କର ସ୍ୱରୂପକୁ ପୂଜା କରୁ; ଏପରି କଲେ ସେ ନିଜ କୃତ ପାପରୁ ମୁକ୍ତ ହୁଏ—ଏଥିରେ ସନ୍ଦେହ ନାହିଁ।
