ଚାତୁର୍ମାସ୍ୟରେ ବିଶେଷକରି—ଦେବ ଶୟନରେ ଥିବାବେଳେ—ଏହି ବ୍ରତ ଅତ୍ୟଧିକ ପୁଣ୍ୟବର୍ଦ୍ଧକ। ହେ ଦ୍ୱିଜ, ଜାଣ: ଲୋକେ ଏହାକୁ ମହାବ୍ରତ କହନ୍ତି।
