evaṃ kṛte suraśreṣṭha saphalaḥ syātkratustava | pratijñā ca tathā satyā tasmāddānāya nirmitā
Brāhmaṇas (continuing ritual dialogue)
Listener: Suraśreṣṭha / deva (addressed)
Scene: A solemn offering is prepared and presented so that a divine vow becomes true and the sacrifice attains fruition; the atmosphere is decisive and auspicious.
Ritual success is inseparable from ethical completion: keeping one’s vow and giving dāna makes the sacrifice truly fruitful.
The verse focuses on yajña and dāna; the tīrtha context is implicit but not named here.
Prepare and offer dāna/dakṣiṇā so the kratu (sacrifice) becomes saphala (successful) and the vow becomes true.
