yasmātpāpe vaco mahyaṃ na kṛtaṃ kunadi tvayā | tasmādraktapravāhaste jalajo'yaṃ bhaviṣyati

ହେ ପାପିନୀ ନଦୀ! ତୁମେ ମୋ ବଚନ କରିଲ ନାହିଁ; ତେଣୁ ତୁମର ଏହି ଜଳଜ ପ୍ରବାହ ରକ୍ତପ୍ରବାହ ହେବ।
