māsimāsi ca yacchrāddhaṃ ṣoḍaśaśrāddhapūrvakam | atra na kriyate yasya pretatvātsa na mucyate

ଷୋଡଶ-ଶ୍ରାଦ୍ଧ ପୂର୍ବକ ମାସେମାସେ ଯେ ଶ୍ରାଦ୍ଧ, ଏଠାରେ ଯାହା ପାଇଁ କରାଯାଏ ନାହିଁ, ସେ ପ୍ରେତତ୍ୱରୁ ମୁକ୍ତ ହୁଏ ନାହିଁ।
