श्रोता चाप्यथ वक्तारं तदा वाक्यं न रोहति । अथ यः स्वप्रियं ब्रूयाच्छ्रोतुर्वोत्सृज्ययदृतम्
śrotā cāpyatha vaktāraṃ tadā vākyaṃ na rohati | atha yaḥ svapriyaṃ brūyācchroturvotsṛjyayadṛtam
ଶ୍ରୋତା ମଧ୍ୟ ଯଦି ବକ୍ତାକୁ ଅବମାନ କରେ, ତେବେ ବାକ୍ୟ ମନରେ ରୋହେ ନାହିଁ। ଏହିପରି ଯେ ନିଜକୁ ପ୍ରିୟ ଲାଗୁଥିବା କଥା ମାତ୍ର କହେ ଓ ଶ୍ରୋତାର ହିତକର ସତ୍ୟକୁ ତ୍ୟାଗ କରେ,
