anena vidhinā karṇo bhāskarārghyaṃ prayacchati | tataḥ sūryasya pārthāsāvātmavadvallabho mataḥ

ଏହି ବିଧିରେ କର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭାସ୍କରଙ୍କୁ ଅର୍ଘ୍ୟ ଅର୍ପଣ କରେ। ତେଣୁ ପୃଥାପୁତ୍ର ସେ ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟଦେବଙ୍କୁ ନିଜ ଆତ୍ମାସମ ପ୍ରିୟ ବୋଲି ଗଣ୍ୟ।
