jagadudbhāsayanbhāsā sūryakoṭisamaprabhaḥ | tato niṣpatya dharaṇīṃ hṛṣṭaromāśrudgadaḥ

ସେ ନିଜ ପ୍ରଭାରେ ସମଗ୍ର ଜଗତକୁ ଉଜ୍ଜ୍ୱଳ କରି—କୋଟି ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟ ସମ ପ୍ରଭାବାନ—ତାପରେ ପୃଥିବୀରେ ଅବତରିଲେ; ରୋମାଞ୍ଚିତ, ଅଶ୍ରୁପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଓ ଗଦ୍ଗଦ କଣ୍ଠରେ।
