ତେବେ ଶତ୍ରୁନାଶକ କେଶବ ହର୍ଷିତ ହୋଇ ପୁନର୍ବାର ସ୍କନ୍ଦଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ— “ସ୍କନ୍ଦ, ସ୍କନ୍ଦ, ହେ ମହାବାହୋ! ‘ବାଣ’ ନାମକ (ଦୈତ୍ୟ) ଅଛି; ସେ ବଳର ପୁତ୍ର।”
