nārada uvāca | kālanemī ruṣāviṣṭasteṣāṃ rūpaṃ na buddhavān | tato nimiṃ ca daityendraṃ matvā devaṃ mahājavaḥ
Nārada
Scene: Nārada narrates as Kālanemi, eyes blazing with rage, fails to recognize true forms; he turns toward Nimi, misperceiving him as a deva—an ominous misidentification before a clash.
Anger clouds perception; without clarity, one misjudges even friend and foe—hence self-control safeguards dharma.
No tīrtha is indicated in this opening verse of the chapter; it continues the battle narrative.
None.
