जघान निरृतिर्देवस्तमसा संवृता भृशम् । हन्यमानेषु दैत्येषु कुजंभे मूढचेतसि

jaghāna nirṛtirdevastamasā saṃvṛtā bhṛśam | hanyamāneṣu daityeṣu kujaṃbhe mūḍhacetasi

ଘୋର ତମସାରେ ସବୁ ଢାକିଯାଇଥିବାବେଳେ ଦେବଶକ୍ତି ନିରୃତି ପ୍ରଚଣ୍ଡ ଆଘାତ କଲେ। ଦୈତ୍ୟମାନେ ହତ ହେଉଥିଲେ, ତଥାପି କୁଜମ୍ଭର ଚେତନା ମୂଢ଼ ରହିଲା।
