ପିତାମହ (ବ୍ରହ୍ମା) ତାହାର ନାମ ‘ବରାଙ୍ଗୀ’ ରଖିଲେ। ତାପରେ ବ୍ରହ୍ମା କଶ୍ୟପଙ୍କ ସହ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗଲୋକକୁ ଗଲେ।
