आरेभिरे क्रियायोगं मार्कंडनृपपूर्वकाः । तेषां तपस्यतामेवं समाजग्मे कदाचन । तीर्थयात्रानुषंगेन लोमशालोकनोत्सुकः
ārebhire kriyāyogaṃ mārkaṃḍanṛpapūrvakāḥ | teṣāṃ tapasyatāmevaṃ samājagme kadācana | tīrthayātrānuṣaṃgena lomaśālokanotsukaḥ
ମାର୍କଣ୍ଡ ରାଜାଙ୍କୁ ଅଗ୍ରେ ରଖି ସେମାନେ କ୍ରିୟାଯୋଗ ସାଧନା ଆରମ୍ଭ କଲେ। ସେମାନେ ଏଭଳି ତପସ୍ୟାରେ ଲୀନ ଥିବାବେଳେ, କେବେ ତୀର୍ଥଯାତ୍ରାର ଅନୁସଙ୍ଗରେ ଲୋମଶ ମଧ୍ୟ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖିବାକୁ ଉତ୍ସୁକ ହୋଇ ସେଠାକୁ ଆସିଲେ।
